Auction Process

1. All players participating in the Infinity Badminton League (IBL) Season 2 shall be allocated to clubs through an Auction Process conducted by the Organising Committee (OC) Auction team.

2. Playing Owner – Cost Deduction, If a Team Owner participates as a playing member, the player’s auction value    shall be deducted from the team’s total purse based on the skill level of the player and performance in the Independence Cup or any other designated qualifying tournament, as assessed by the organisers.

3.  Non‑Playing Owner – Cost Deduction, If a Team Owner does not participate as a player, no deduction shall be applied.

4.  The Organising Committee (OC) reserves the right to Assess player levels and assign price slabs, Decide auction values, and Apply deductions as per these rules to uphold competitive balance. All such decisions shall be final and binding, and no disputes shall be entertained post‑auction.

5. No request for swap of players or substitution for players post auction shall be entertained by the OC at any circumstance. Owner may utilise the player from buffer pool.

6.  Each team must consist of a minimum of Thirteen (13) registered players, including, at least  ten (10) Men players and at least three (3) Women players. Teams not meeting the minimum gender requirement shall not be permitted to participate.

7. The unsolded player or players who registered after aution and before 15th August will be feature in buffer player pool.

8. There will be pool of buffer players in the league, Owners can utilise these players pool in case of unavailability.

9. Allocation of Buffer Pool players shall be managed solely by the IBL Organising Committee to ensure competitive balance and fairness.

Important Rule: If any player who did not play a single match in the entire league, we will refund the registration fee at the end of the league.
